Did you forget
did you ever let yourself go
did your heart ever fly such as mine
with each stroke of the keys
the sounds that drop like little drops of rain
remind me ever second and every breath you took
silently laying there in a glow
I wanted each breath to end everything
to live the rest of life in that moment
each one crashing into me like a hammer
softly like flowers against the wind
to close my eyes and feel the sun upon my face
does the sun shine for you any more
or did you go inside
what's the sun and rain without someone to share it with
I won't stop searching for you
I want to turn away and save myself
but no matter how much i try everything tells me not to go
this is my place and where my heart finally found
the place it has been looking for all along
but i don't have the key
I wish you'd answer the door
I pen my prayers to find the ears of God
cause while my love could go on forever my heart cannot
