Just got home

Armin was fantastic. Always makes me laugh with as much as people trash talk breaks and trance those events have the best energy and most people dancing. But I am exhausted. I got two hours of sleep before I went thankfully. Time for me to get two more before work. Thank God I don't have to teach tomorrow night. I would keel over and die I think.

I saw an incredible number of people I haven't seen in a long while. I captured some incredible shots. Or so they looked that way on the camera LCD. I guess I'll see once I get them off the camera. I'm waiting for it now. Perhaps I'll post those up before heading to bed. Or at least a few marquee shots. 13 more minutes. Let me go get ready for bed while I wait.




I feel really privledged to be able to be so close to these dj's who people adore like rock stars. I'm using my fish eye which means I was really about 6 inches from the back of his head =)

Timing a photo with someone elses camera flash is like trying to catch lightning. Sometimes those the planets align and my time is dead on.


As the nights go on I get better about knowing where all the club lighting pans in the club. It's just a matter of holding the shot until the light goes through it's loop and sweeps back around. =)


I really liked the colors on this one.


Can we say a good time? =)


For it starting out slow it sure picked up in a hurry


I bet having played this request made that fan's night.


Can you believe this? People were pulling out EVERYTHING to try to get signed. Flyers, Drivers License, Bras, $100 bills etc.



Oh and PS, all the past two months worth of photos for StillVapor are finally sorted. They should be up end of this week or next. I just need to watermark and upload them all. Carlos I'll get you the last three galleries tomorrow night or next week.

It would probably pain you to know that last night was 18 and up. =) They do that every now and then. Get on the liquified email list and you can see when they have those 18+ events. www.liquified.com
As far as I can tell Paul Van Dyk on Wednesday, 11/9/2005 is 18+ and Steve Lawler on Thursday, 12/29/2005 is 18+. =)

There hasn't been a vibe like that at E50 for awhile. I was also very impressed with Ian James' set. He has really gotten good.

They will probably use them for a little bit. They always change out what they hang from the ceiling and I imagine for these next couple shows especially holloween they'll have something new.
