You know who make the best people to love?
Aug. 1st, 2004 08:12 pmThe ones who watch stars, read books, and cry at songs. The hopeless romantics that search and search for that someone who accepts love like a million shooting stars and close there eyes when bliss rains upon them. The ones who don't kiss with there lips but their eyes and the end of their noses.
I'd take that over a million dollers today.
Since I've anted to my french heritage and bought myself a bottle of Courvoisier XO let me share the perfect way to have a glass of it. Just like salt and lime goes for tequilla shots so do dark chocolate and lemon perrier/sprite go for Cognac. But when you sip it one should take a small sip and swirl it in the front of there mouth and then a slightly large sip for the entire mouth. It's amazing what you'll taste in a 20 year old Cognac. =)
BUT as with most cognac's it's not the taste that one savors but it's the endless swirling in a brandy glass and enjoying the scents that come from it. The chocolate gives it a wonderfully complex aroma. I guess it might seem a bit silly to eat chocolate and then just smell the cognac. But ... so wonderful. =)
