Excited!

Took my first photo with my new lighting. For those that don't know I finally broke down and purchased some studio lighting. One AlienBee 800, 30"x60" Soft box, lighting stand and boom. Pricey stuff but hopefully I can take some pretty good portraits here soon. My camera is still in New York getting repaired so I've been having to borrow a camera. Well finally borrowed a camera since my lighting came in. First thing I did when I got up this morning was put all my lighting together and hook it up to a camera. Here's one of the first shots I took since my only available model was our cat =)

Once I get it all setup in the room upstairs I'm going to need some practice =) And that's where you all will come in ;)
