Coachella

I went and saw this last night at sort of the last minute. It was pretty decent, some parts better then others but perhaps not worth the $12.50 ticket. It does make me want to go to the festival sometime.

Looking up ticket information and such it looks like it would be about a $800 trip. $400 for a plane ticket and $200 for two nights in Indio, California. Then there is the price of a two day pass which I might potentially get waived with a media coverage pass. Of course the price of the room could be cheaper if other people went also. That would be the month after Miami so that might not even be possible.

Perhaps I won't do any trip internationally until next year since there's still so much stuff I want to go to and people I want to visit stateside this year.

Has anyone else been to Coachella?

From what I can decern is they only have 4-5 stage and they're not that far apart. The field is probably half the size of Ultra which is what nearly put me down last year running from stage to stage.

It was wierd watching Ken and Scott from The Crystal Method in the movie after having hung out with them at eleven50. Which reminds me.... I wonder how headspacemovie is doing and if we're in it...
