So I just realized tickets for the the Cirque du Soleil: Delirium show go public tomorrow. I got the presale member email right after I paid a double payment on my car. If I would have known it was goign to be here in Atlanta I wouldn't have sent a double payment this time but next time. Anyone want to go? Ticket prices range from US $71.50 - US $127.00. I still want to check out one of their shows. Wonder if I can snatch corporate seats for this? Though I know everyone and their mother will be requesting these tickets.

Possibly I don't know if they'll have those available since the seating is all sorts of different. They are using only the sides of the arena as the ends hold the stage areas for the performers. The stage is dual directional going right through the middle of the floor length wise and people sit on both sides across from each other.

I saw a Cirque de Soleil show once and did the VIP thing - it was super fab! I can't remember how much the tickets cost though... I thought it was like $175 or something, but I'm not sure - I could be totally wrong. Well worth it, I thought!

I'm going! =) Tickets were $127 this time just for regular tickets. No Tapis Rouge for this show since it's a little different in format then the regular cirque shows.

My family goes every time they're in town and just so you know, this isn't a normal show. It's a presentation of the music of Cirque. There are 20 performers, 11 of which are musicians. I think there are maybe 4 or 5 acrobats and some vocalists. Very, very small show for Cirque. And there's no Tapis Rouge.

It's definitely less performers but the stage actually looks to be twice the size of a regular cirque stage. Or at least it's much bigger then the Verekai stage. They say it's 45 individuals and about 90 minutes long which is much shorter then the other shows but the fact it's all sync to music should be awesome to see. I'm guessing it's going to be much like watching something like Fischerspooner or a live pa.

I got to sample some of it last year at conference but didn't get a chance to get the cd which I hope to pick up before the show. =)
