funny how sitting at a computer all day can just seem to wipe you out. It's funny how much sleep I realize I don't get when I have to get up everyday and go to work. The commute is brutal and I can't wait to get my own place. I'm just going to wait a bit and save up some money first and get my bills payed off. Trying to be smart about it all. Don't need to have things come crashing down on me again. So something interesting...Let me think...
Funny I'm not sure I learned anything new today. I did see a BMW Z8 at work today. I got out of my car and just marveled at the fine lines and the amazing engineering that went into that car. $128,000 they say the sticker price is. It's funny you don't even think about it till you really look at the car up close and notice the differences in the way things are assembled and the craftmanship that went into it. Make me wonder how many things in my life are just assembly line grade. How much of my life and emotions do I just assembly line and not really put the time to really understand and work out the things that go through my head. And I know I shouldn't have but the paint felt amazing ;)
Speaking of cars my baby is sick. Apparently she's been sick for about as long as I've had her. Deep underneath the intake manifold one of the hundreds of rubber vaccum hose basically melted and then broke in two. Which turns out is the one hose controling where the power from my second turbo goes. So this whole time my second turbo basically hasn't been putting any power into the engine and just venting it out into the air. So the car has been running almost 70-90 horsepower then it could be. Which is REALLY scary if you ask me or anyone who i've taken in my car. I get tthat hosed fixed that car is going to be scary. According to what readings I got at the Dyno (which is what helped determine something was wrong with the second turbo) the car will do about 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. To give you an idea that's faster then most street legal cars including half the Ferrari family, all the Porsche family, and right up there with the Viper. But what can I say, I live for speed. VROOM!
