Why oh Why
Nov. 30th, 2002 02:01 amWhy hasn't my stupid LJ changed over to a paid account yet. Banks there so slow or something processing this stuff. I guess it's the holiday so I shouldn't complain.
It's been quite grand having my sister and brother visit though. I don't get to see them very much and it's good to my inner self.
For some reason today I had this sort of revalation. I still don't believe one gets too much better of an education at an ivy league school then anywhere else. Well not anywhere but most state and private schools. It's more of the people you go to school with. Most of them are intelligent and resourceful and while they might be trying to cure cancer or be the next anti-super hero dibolical they all have a passion and drive to be greater then they are currently. Which I believe isn't not nearly close to the truth at these other schools. So in a sense your success has greater potential through the network and associations you have available and meet in school of other individuals more likey to be successful. So in that regard I'm sort of sad to not have gone to princeton. But at the same time I'm still glad I gave it all up for the multifaceted education from the multiple smaller schools I recieved. And not to mention the people I will never forget.
