Ugh brain hardly functioning this morning. Sometimes I really wonder how many other people can really tax their bodies like I seem to do on a regular basis. I'm sure I've whittled away a few years of my life on the trememendous amounts of sleep dep I've put myself through.
And I realize now a lot of that staying up is mostly being on the computer and doing things and the occasional event that goes into the early hours of the morning. So I fear that as technology and such just gets better more people will stay up later and later.
I know I saw on tv about that the average sleep states of people have shifted to more people being under slept.

Well all I can say is nap time during lunch time.

I read something in Time Magazine a few months ago about how more and more people are going for days, weeks and in rare instances, months at a time without sleep. They have to set 30-50 minutes aside every day to be perfectly still with their eyes closed, and they're on crazy diets in order to keep their strength. I get about 5-6 hours every night thinking that it's hardly any. Can you imagine?
