Pirates...Arg!
Dec. 8th, 2003 02:21 pmSo I finally saw that Pirates of the Caribbean movie. And it was decent but not as super as it seemed everyone made it out to be. I guess I've never really had a vast interest in pirates so the movie was only good but not great. But I did realize that it was mostly a lot of women that really got caught up in the whole pirate thing and wanting to be one. Anyone have any idea why that is? Besides the obvious lusting after Johnny Deep or Orlando Bloom.

He can become ANYTHING.
I haven't seen the movie yet because it was out of stock at Blockbuster when we went to get it, but the whole honest reason for wanting to see it is not just because the men are hot, but because Depp is such an incredible actor. I know the movie has to be at least halfway decent if he is in it. :)
It's not rocket science

Johnny Depp has this amazing ability to play some of the most amazing, difficult, weird roles that NO ONE else could play any better. His character, Jack Sparrow, had a lot of the same "characterictics" as did his role in Fear and Loathing if you ask me. And I honestly think he is one of the most underrated actors. Just my opinion
