Guess Jeans and the Button Fly
Mar. 22nd, 2004 03:37 pmSo I've never owned a pait of button fly jeans on the simple principle that the buttons could impeed me needing to get them open in a hurry. (To go to the bathroom perverts) Well I needed a new pair and these jeans at guess looked sort of appealing. Now when I tried them on I only buttoned the top button. I didn't even realize they're were button flys until I got them home and attempt to wear them out.
So I said screw it lets give them a try. And while these jeans were pretty pricey I don't mind paying for something that cause's the mental revolution that these jeans did. In a stroke of luck I realized after undoing the top button the rest can be removed with a slight tug. The top hole is cut just slightly different enough that it doesn't let go at the same tug. Engineering brilliance! And instead of impeeding my ability to undo them slow it actually is faster then a zipper. Not to mention it has a sort of fanfare effect of the buttons letting go.
I have been convinced that button flys are far superior then a zipper. :)
