Good times =)
Mar. 29th, 2004 09:51 amSo.... What an interesting weekend this has been.
If any of you were wondering where I was or why I wasn't out. Saturday I got pulled over by Cobb County's finest cause my tags were coming up with a little note that "Owner of vehicle has suspended license" Said Owner is me, and said owner had no idea he HAD a suspended license. The dispatcher had no idea why my license was suspended only except that it was suspended back in January. The only thing I could think of was I didn't pay come processing cost or court cost to my ticket that I got when I was in South Carolina a while ago.
So needless to say he wasn't being the nicest guy and I wasn't about to argue with him since I have no idea the law is about driving on a suspended license. He took my license and since I was up on the opposite end of town had my car towed to this tow lot. So basically I was stuck at home most of the weekend.
The really funny thing is I'm really not that upset about it. I mean I guess I should be since at the current moment I have no car and no license but I guess this is a happy testament to the wonderful training I got in the military to not overreact or panic about any situation. My roommate works right next to where I do and since he took over as manager of his store he basically works the same hours so he's just bring me along his morning commute. (we basically follow each other in the mornings and evenings anyway) And there really isn't anywhere I have to be so there you go.
Now the only downside is until I get everything straightened up I can't visit anyone. SOOO.... your all welcome to come relieve me of my boredom at home in the evenings if you have the time. =) In a way I'm sort of taking this as being forced to relax and not be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off doing stuff. So give me a call (or send me an e-mail if you want my number) and stop on by! =)
