So scattered out of work on friday on a nice half day. Ran home and finished packing. (note... don't pull clothes out and forget to put them in bag) < DUMB

So yeah the ride down to Hilton Head was pretty uneventful. Ran into some rain as we got into Hilton Head. Met up with Josh (DJB) and just sort of tok it easy. Grilled out, played some Collin McRae Rally 3(How I heart thee) on XBox. Which for me was absolutely wonderful cause I LOVE video games. Ever have since I've been a kid but with everything going on I haven't had the time to play any. So being able to play a considerable amount this weekend was awesome.

Josh and his fiancee Kate are a RIOT to listen to intereact. Josh is like super hyper, funny, crazy and Kate is mild mannered, proper, and very sweet. They're interaction is like a comedy skit in itself. I nearly peed myself when Josh was telling us this story about how there dog Paisley took a #2 in there bedroom one night and Josh woke up and started sniffing around and said to Kate "Damn Kate your breath STINKS" LMAO! Sorry I found it really funny at the time. =)

So anywho I woke up at like 8:45-9am which was BIZARRE since I was up till 3:30. It was quite the day when I get up before everyone else. Had an awesome Cheese and Crab omlet that Kate made us all. Me and Latte D went and did some stuff in the morning that we needed to take care of while we were down in Hilton Head. We met back up with Josh and headed into Savannah.

Sidenote: Now Savannah has ALWAYS creeped me out. Mostly cause the two other times I've been there people are always telling me about oh, so and so died there, is buried over there, ghost roams around here, blah blah. Now while I've never believed in ghosts and such all that talk along with all the old houses just disturbs me a bit.

They drop me off and I meet up with my friend Roo. Now let me give you a little background on her. I've know her for like almost 3 years now and while our personal interaction has been fleeting at best with some small amounts of conversation from time to time I've always felt she was an AMAZING friend. We used to only see each other at parties and even then it was like maybe every 3-4 months. Now she never really posted anything concrete in her journal so I got to know her through this ethereal mixing of words, poems, and emotions. Something always told me that she was this amazing person and would be in my life. Not only is she incredible beautiful she's brilliantly intelligent and has this artist heart that will take her to some amazing places. Besides the fact she toured with the Cruxshadows as a dancer all over Europe, she's got one of the most exciting style of clothes I've seen on anyone.

So anywho I get over to her place and wow is all I'm going to say. She has this apartment that just wow. Not only was the lay out and space just awesome she had these couches that were butter yellow leather with Aluminum legged feet and these two massive bay windows. *heart*

With in about 15 minutes I couldn't stop talking to her and running around her place. I felt so inspired I finally gave in grabbed my camera and ran around just documenting her and her place. (how strange am I) and the brilliant part about it, she was totally cool with it. =) We just get along so well and have so much fun. I mean honestly how many people do you know that get you so artistically excited you want to take a picture of their living space just in hopes to capture the essence of that and be able to share it with everyone? And I'm not just talking pictures of the entire room I'm talking shots of like trinkets, wall sockets, etc. =)

So then we did something I haven't done in a long long time. We just went for a walk. I took my camera along and the whole time walking around Savannah taking it all in and talking about everything under the sun we took pictures of whatever interested us or caught our eye. (seriously I'm getting like crazy excited just typing this cause I had so much fun) Then we went to eat chinese at this place called Chao's. Again more talking about everything. =)

Then we went back to her place to get ready to head out to Apres/Moxie to see Latte D or better known in this case as DJ N:03, Dj Rap, DJB, and Terry Thurston spin. She came out and was sporting this seriously awesome bling choker necklace. It was about 3 inches tall and completely rinestones and silver. Sporting the rest in while with her super blonde white hair she looks like she was glowing.

Needless to say we had an awesome time at Apres. N:O3 was putting down a nice sexy vibe upstairs and me and Roo had a few drinks and danced quite a bit. (seriously this girl has some serious moves!) We left about 2~3ish went back talked more and went to bed.

Woke up in the morning and went downstairs to the cafe since she lived right above it. Now when we first stepped outside it was all sunny and such. In the middle of breakfast it starts raining. And then POURING. We run back up to the apartment getting a little bit wet. After lounging around for a bit the sun comes back out so we decided to go walking again. Half way through our walk it just starts raining and turned into a variable monsoon. The BEST part of my entire weekend, we walked talking in the pouring rain. People were scrambling for shelter and there we are going down the sidewalk with rain dripping off our hair and faces haha! It was so awesome. I haven't done that in YEARS and it amazes me everytime. I felt like it was just washing away all the stress and worry out of my life and just let me enjoy moments as they came. I honestly was smiling the whole time I was getting poured on.

Got back to her place dried up and sat around talking until we heard this preacher over a loud speaker outside. And originally we thought it was just a bus tour like they have since she lives right by one of the squares. We got outside to check it out and there are a TON of dogs out there. We go down and check it out and they're having church service of sorts but to bless their dogs! It was crazy LOL! But there were so many fun dogs down there. There was this fat little chihuahua that looked like he was going to explode from excitment there was so much going on around him.

So not to much after that Latte D came and picked me up and we all head back to Atlanta. Ate at the Vortex when we got back and then went to cold stone and had ice cream. Then I went to go check out my friend Ashley's new hair and OMG it's amazing. It's like all red, pink, blonde, and brown. Can we say HOT?! I'll try to grab a picture of it for you all tonight. =)

So needless to say my weekend was pretty complete. I can't thank Roo enough for such a wonderful time. I owe her SO much! I LOVE YOU ROO D 2 KOOL FOR SKOOL! And Latte D and DJB for all the wonderful laughs and friendship! You guys rock!

I took a huge smathering of pictures. Close to about 400 I'd say total the entire weekend. I'll try to get them up in they're appropriate places when I can for you all. =)
