And it's yet another day here in crazy world =) I recieved my Sensation cd's and DVD yesterday and some folks came over to watch it. Sigh it looks like SOOOO much fun and I'm determined to go next year. But perhaps this time I'll actually save up quite a bit and got to Amsterdam for more then just a weekend.

But it got me thinking that if you could build your own dance club or a chill lounge what would you do? I mean like type of seating, decorations, etc. I'm just curious to know what sort of things you guys like?

I personally love those ottoman type beds where you can lounge around with friends and of course fishtanks! =)

If I could build a club or lounge, I would theme it as a galaxy type deal... Where as, there would be spaceships sitting around that you could go in and sit/make-out/whatever (lol) in, and then there would be planets coming out of the ceiling, stars around everywhere, the ceiling would 'basically' look like the ceiling of the planetarium (if you've ever been, it looks like a real night sky during the presentation)... All drinks would be served with comet-like straws and cosmic decor. Oh yea, and the spaceships that are everywhere will have pillow-like floors and pillows everywhere inside of it, *but* there would also be like a real looking cotpit of the spaceship in there with a screen for a window, and it constantly will be showing a video of flying through space... So, you can grab ahold of the steering wheel and pretend you are going on a cosmic voyage LOL, yes it sounds cheesey, but how freakin' COOL would that be honestly?!
Anywayz, I could go on for an hour about things I have in mind... That is the basic idea though *lol*

deep purple velvet (or at least velour) cushiony couches with comfy arms you can lay your head on. also big round purple velvet bed-like things to lay on.

the night sky lighting would be very cool. the only thing better might be a glass ceiling.

i'd have to think on this for a while. i NEVER go to clubs so i don't even have anything to go on! strobe lights are fun, though, and bubbles too. i don't like to dance and get tired very easily from standing so my ideal place would simply have TONS of comfortable seating. a floor that lit up different colors would be awesome.

Glass ceiling as in you could see to the upper level? That is so what I was gonna say...
The night sky would be an awesome idea... Maybe have something it where it changes throughout the night like the real sky does...
Lots of mirrors would be kool too but with 'intelligent lighting' (haha) that might get on peoples nerves...
I like the velvet idea- any type of soft, smooth, material-
Lots of places to sit maybe have like one or two of the walls with like one big couch across it- then have a place by the bar with hightop tables and regular tables closer to the dance floor...
I'm not real sure theres a million idea for something like this, those are just some things that came to mind...
