Character under alcohol

So I've started to notice that alcohol brings out some interesting characteristics in some people. Which makes me wonder if people all the time are holding back on they're real self. They hold back some of the parts of themselves most people only see behind closed doors. These traits and attributes that people would find endearing and wonderful get hidden away cause they're to afraid to show them in regular public.

Is it cause society is to hard and judgemental? Is this what keeps people from sharing with others such wonderful things? And then the question is how many of these traits do I hold back in myself.

I've always noticed that I'm usually not taken at face value and don't really become an interest to most people until they actually really get to know me. Perhaps I'm not sharing enough? or perhaps my own personal PR is pretty weak =)

So tell me something about yourselves that you think most people miss.

I think most people miss that I'm just an extremely nurturing person. It's my own fault, I'm so damned shy and have always felt aloof but I've never turned anyone away.....*le sigh* I'm such a pussy I even forgive people when they are monsters to me (have had one or two to be that bad)....I don't know what my deal is. Maybe it's that whole missing father thing ;)

I hope none of that sounds arrogant though......this mostly goes for naught since most people think I'm stuck up for some reason :( I should buy a shirt that says, "I'm not stuck on myself!! I'm just SHY !" heeeeee
