So... over the course of the last year after stopping Kung Fu and everything else that requires any real sort of exercise. Not to mention talking pictures at events which prevents me from really dancing alot cause I'm lugging around this camera everywhere. And you couple that with the fact I have a desk job I don't get hardly much exercise at all.
One day bending over side ways I could just FEEL how I was getting out of shape. So I decided things needed to change. Not only did I start running but I also changed the way I eat. And if any of you really know me know that's a HUGE change. I stopped eating even if I was full and when left with the indecision of what I really wanted to eat I usually would just take the healthier option.
SOOOO.... I finally this morning put my jean belt back to the fourth hole which I've basically been on for most of high school and college. I had been up to between the 1st and 2nd hole. So that's awesome =)
And to add to that I've been keeping a set of free weights around and whenever I'm just there in my room I'd pick one up and do curls, tricep lifts, and misc other exercises with them as I was thinking of what I was needing to do that day. And I can totally see the difference. =)
I'm so on my way to getting to the pro soccer player build I've always wanted =)

Date: 2004-05-26 10:14 am (UTC)i walk home every day. some days i really dont want to but i do. its a 25 minute walk, and like 2-3 km. ive lost flab in my thighs and probably lost the 5lbs i gained. im small so 5lbs is alot to me. and i definatly hope to lose some of my ass too. so far soooo good. also got a pilates dvd yesterday so we'll see how that goes.
its good to do stuff at home. sit ups and push ups, old faithfuls you know? tried and true and work.
