Cause I frankly hope the media dies for all the chaos and fear the wipe up into a frenzy with people. My mom was so scared when they did that smuggling nuclear material into the US undetected it REALLY REALLY just made me mad. My mother doesn't know these things and just takes them as she sees it on tv. While I've never really paid much attention to the media, when it starts to scare and worry my mother I get angry especially if it's a bunch of half truths put together to make a good story to scare people for ratings.

I studied an incredible amount of physics in high school and college and one of our projects in high school was to design a nuclear bomb. (it's actually super easy. My physics teachers point was to show us that any high school student could design and build one with the proper materials.) The reason there's not many of them around you ask? Weapons grade materials for nuclear weapons are next to impossible to get ahold of. Of course the MEDIA wants you to think ENTIRELY differently. They smuggled in a depleted uranium block which is NOT repeat NOT weapons grade enriched uranium.

SEE DEPLETED!
DU is classified as a low-level radioactive material. In comparison, several consumer products contain radioactive material that also emits ionizing radiation, such as present-day smoke detectors. In medicine, radioactive materials and other sources of ionizing radiation are widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of some diseases which emit about the same amount as depleted uranium.

The specific activity (the radioactivity per unit mass) of the uranium isotopes in depleted uranium is about 15 million Becquerel per kilogram (15 x 106 Bq/kg).2 This is approximately 40 percent lower than that of naturally occurring uranium (25 x 106 Bq/kg) and about 150 times less than that of enriched uranium (approximately 2.3 x 109 Bq/kg).

Little Boy, the atomic bomb the United States dropped on Hiroshima, used 141 pounds (64 kg) of highly enriched uranium (about 80 percent U-235) -- about 10 times the mass of ABC's depleted uranium cylinder

Now mind you getting just an ounce of enriched uranium is crazy imagine trying to find 140 POUNDS of it?!
While depleted uranium is actually fairly easy to get.

But anywho before I get really mad about it all.... Hope this helps. I'd rather my friends know then not.

While I'm not an advocate for people having guns, I believe gun education is important.

...not to mention how crazy expensive enriched Uranium is.

"Cause I frankly hope the media dies for all the chaos and fear the wipe up into a frenzy with people"

I feel the exact same way.
