When you can't spend the holidays with a significant other

Might as well turn to the solace of technology =)

First is the item that changes my path in life in what I want to do.


She's a super fast brute. My friends and I have already nicknamed the speed shutter mode "Paparazzi Mode" cause of the sheer speed it can take 4 mega pixel photos. I can take 1700 photos and fill the entire 2GB card by mashing the shutter in two minutes thirty seconds. Crazy huh? But I have to step it up in the level of actual photography. My older digital camera got me lazy and taking okay pictures, but now since I've decided that photography is really where my heart was in college I need to actually go out and practice taking prograde shots. I've taken some but I'll have to wait till I get home from Orlando to show you all.

And the other love of a gift:

256MB Mp3 player and it's SOOOOO tiny! It's litterly smaller then a tic-tac container. The sound quality is awesome, it's got a radio tuner, and a clock/alarm on it. And the part that makes me squeal like a little designer freak? It's not shiny plastic but chromed aluminum. <3

Other then that I got various other nice gifts like a really interesting book (Bill Bryson - A Short History of Nearly Everything, has anyone read it?), three Dvds (Hero, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and an acclaimed Anime, Grave of the Fireflies), a bunch of poker chips so my friends and I can have guys poker nights, and various gift cards. I even got a scratch off lotto ticket and won $5 dollers =)

But time to go back the fam.

Btw Jenny McCarthy should never have returned back to Playboy for a spread. :)

So I've always wanted some nice photos of myself just doing things and hanging out etc. But every photographer I seem to befriend never has the time or bails out on taking each others pictures. I mean we're always behind the camera but it would be nice for a change to get a photographer taking pictures of ourselves. =) Just wondering if you'd be interested as you have some so so work ;) Kidding it's absolutely wonderful =)
