LOL Fire in the hole!

So I've always know I can eat some hot food, but this just makes me laugh! So the other creative lead and myself went and got lunch downstairs and they had this fresh made pasta bowls. Well they had all these spices you can ask for when they make it and I asked for three scoops of pepper. Ashley asked for 3/4 of a scoop. She just came over and she's talking with a lisp and is crying! LOL and she asked if I was dying cause hers was so hot she couldn't even imagine how mine is. I looked at her and said it's barely spicy at all. She couldn't believe it. LOL So I figured from the level of heat that it's probably about like 4-5000 scoville units of spice hers being more like 2,500 which is pretty much original tabasco sauce. Then I showed her this...

And they have Blair's 6am which is 16,000,000 which is 10,500,000 scoville units less then police grade pepper spray =). I have Blair's Mega Death Sauce rated at 550,000 scoville units at home and use it in food =) So she IM's our director and me this and I just burst out laughing...

Ashley: erich is a mutant...he didn't even think it was hot and he asked for extra...

Oh did I ever mention we bet my friend $40 dollers he couldn't snort a line of the Mega death sauce I have at home? =) I never laughed so much in my entire life =)

gah i dont even know what i can handle, i think i can barely handle tobasco sauce. im not afraid to use it though...and i do like things spicy, just not ridiculous :)

Spicy foods cause your body to release endorphins which gives you sort of like a runners high which explains why people love spicy food once they can handle it =)

Nice! I love spicy food, but I know you can eat stuff way hotter than me. My boyfriend once ate a straight tablespoon of that Chinese pepper sauce for $20. :)

You should try to find Chinese Tiger skin peppers. They taste soooo good but they are hot enough that I can only eat 3/4 of one. The most I've seen anyone eat is 5.

did i tell you i thought of you when i was stuck in the seoul airport? i was so exhausted and airport-y and unreasonable that i ended up crying myself to sleep on some bench because i couldn't eat anything they had there, and i remember wishing i could have your nuclear-hot-food tolerance for once.
