Haven't posted in a while

And I have some other things I want to post about but they haven't really solidified in my head how I want to put them so I figure I'd post about the things that to bubble to the surface.

I'm a little disappointed in myself today in the fact it's been almost a year now since I made the conscious decision to be a photographer professional. And while I've had several challanges I know big part of it has been my lack of applying myself. I definitely need to shoot more portraits and fashion photography if I really want to leave the world of web design. Nightlife photography while fun and gives me an avenue to experiment and even get paid for my work is definitely not providing me the creative satisfaction I yearn for. I realize my photography portfolio is still not up, my onemodeplace portfolio has hardly been updated, and there's a zillion photographs I need to go through, sort, retouch, etc. And yet I haven't done much with that. Bad Erich! Sometimes is hard being your own worst critic.

So. This week I'm going to lock down my portfolio if it kills me. Then the next step is too shoot more and work on the photos I have. Here's to hopefully getting my crap together in this department =)

I'm always up for it, and plus I need new photos - i'm wearing the ones out that you did last time! They are so awesome, i've had more complements on how awesome they were done. I always am like OH MAN my friend Erich is so talented blah blah blah :P Plus, chips and salsa holy CRAP. Will it ever happen? *new reporter music comes on*
