Limbo

That's about how everything has felt lately. My career, my friends, my relationships, etc. Much like how everything was frozen over this morning I feel like just letting everything just progress at it's own pace without much intervention from me. Winter is good for that. To snuggle in with the things that make me happy and avoid the cold things that make me unhappy has been the approach I've been taking. Of course like any house in winter some heat escapes and icey finger of cold get in from time to time.
I have some really great friends and it's turns out I have some pretty aweful ones too. And attempting to keep a holiday mood I've just cut that negativity out of my life. Sugar coating is for cookies.
I'm looking forward to seeing my family and spend with them. And perhaps as much time with my friends as I can.
Thanks to Darrell, Annie, and Diane last night. I was pretty bummed out but hearing from you three made it quite a bit better.

Thanks for connecting with me, its great to hear from people whose writing I have enjoyed at one point or another!

I too have been cleaning house in friendhsip and love, its hard work, and its not easy to move from the comfort zone into the unknown, and its important for me anyway to be around people who align with my core values like honesty, integrity and consistency. :)
