Oh so sleepy

Well hopefully today I won't sleep past my station. I have several posts I want to make about various things I jotted down from watching Memoirs of a Geisha, Motorcycle Diaries, and other misc thinking while on vacation. But I'm too tired to make any real thought processes go on upstairs.

I watched the movie Stealth last night. Not great but not aweful. Fun little movie. Did help capture the sense in speed planes fly at but did have reminicent feelings of Top Gun and Behind Enemy Lines. The female lead was quite pretty even though I don't know what her name is.

Saw 40-Year Old Virgin night before last and while crude definitely had some seriously funny moments. I could so relate to some of the crazy women he's dated which helped make the movie all that more funny.

and I'll leave you with a quick thought. How in the world did prostitutes back in the day not get pregneant? Did they just wing it and hope for the best? Have some sort of way to abort? or actually just have a lot of kids?

You can watch your temperature and count the days after your period to determine when you'll be ovulating. An egg is only fertile for 24 to 48 hours. So as long as you don't do the nasty during those two days then you should be ok.

Though as said above, condoms and abortions have been around for a lot longer then when they became "mainstream".

If that's what they're teaching you, you might want to look at a different class! Sperm can live and fertilize for approximately 72 hours after ejaculation so you can have sex 3 days before ovulation and the day of and the day after ovulation, and any of those days can result in a pregnancy.
