Tired

So I just got back from seeing my friend Barry(sikora) and Dj Irene. And I'm tired. I was honestly quite dissappointed in Irene.

(alot of you can just skip this part)

She started strong with high energy but with in the third mix back spun a record to switch to the next one which is a very amateur move. Then I started noticing all the mixes happened right when the breakdown started. While this makes for alot of quick mixing I started to become apparent that she wasnt' mixing at all. when the song hit it's break down she stopped that record and started the other. And since it was at the breakdown there is no beat so I was a little disappointed.

But the night was ok. Saw some friends TN that I talk to online quick often but never have a chance to see. I hope they have a safe trip heading back tomorrow.

In other news

So it was a very very sad day yesterday. My darling Rx-7 final went through the death throws of loosing an interior coolant seal. The engine is now official dead. And she sit's silent out in the parking space outside of my apartment complex. She gave everything she had to make it back and sputtered coolant and vented turbo pressure through the system. It's going to be at least 4-6 months before I'll get a chance to have the engine rebuilt but more like 9 months to a year. So my wonderous RX-7 which has served me so well over the last few years. RIP you'll be greatly missed.
