Euphoria... that's the only word I can describe my saturday night. That night I spent with a mass of my best friends and attended the Deepsky concert along with DJ Irene and Donald Glaude. For those of you that know me, Deepsky is my musical idol. I dream of being in the place where they are now. The concert was unbeliable and i just lost myself dancing that night. Then the funniest thing happened....
At the after party I ran up to a friend to say hello and she was currently talking to somone. I said hi to this person who introduced himself as Jason. Well in my party having a great time craziness I ran off to say hi to more friends when no more then 10 steps away another friend stopped me and said "Do you know who you just said hi too." I nearly need to pick my jaw off the floor as I realized I just talked to one half of Deepsky. Need less to say I was running at lightspeed to return to talk to him. By the end of the night. Not only did I get to talk to them for 15-20 minutes, I also got a promotional sticker from them for their new cd In Silico, I also got their business card, and the back of my shirt signed by both of them. Needless to say I was in heaven.
But if that wasn't enough ...I gave them my gallery addy and asked them to look at it cause alot of times I was listening to their music while designing some of the pictures. And as a thank you for an unbeliable concert I created this for them. To make things even more blissful... two days later...that design showed up on their website http://www.deepsky.co.uk and I recieved a message from Jason thanking me for the design. I'm simple left with a feeling of amazment that someone so big has said hello to someone so little.
