When you give someone a book or some thing you consider having value or is well like by yourself, sign it or find a way to personalize it. It's one thing to recieve a recommended book from someone and it's entirely different to recieve one that has been signed and personalized. And books should always be given not borrowed.

Ah yes see I'm definitely not a re-reader. I do like collecting books though. Among things lol!
