Depression

Does anyone know the signs of clinical depression or how one would know if they had it?

On another note, it's funny how having a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich along with a clod glass of milk makes me feel like a kid again. =) Childhood euphoria...

why are you depressed my dear? is it because you miss talking to me? at any rate, i am someone who is depressed quite often... :o\ if you need to talk about anything, just let me know.

i could think of more, but i'm tired...the one's off the top of my head are:
-changes in appetite
-changes in sleeping patterns (sleeping more or less than usual)
-lack of interest in things that once made you happy
-lack of energy
-mood swings
-weaker immune system than normal

lack of care for responsibilities
being defensive

my grandma was manic depressive so I used to do a lot research on that kinda stuff.

irritability often comes into play
and anxiety sometimes comes hand in hand with depression

I am manic depressive myself so I've seen the intense lows contrasted against the euphoric highs. What's up man?
