Calling all geeks

So I've been trying to find like radio and news you can download in mp3 format to listen later on. I figure I can listen to what's going on in the world as I'm on the go with my mp3 player instead of the same music over and over. Anyone know of any places online to do this or some place I can go?

As for radio and news I know there is a Real Radio syndicate you can listen to online. However, I'm not sure of the address. I'm sure you could look it up and find it though!
